Wing Bucket is a southern-style chicken wings restaurant located at 1200 Main St. in downtown Dallas.

Wingbucket is different than your standard wings restaurants.  They serve full-size wings, not the drumettes you get a most chicken wing joints. They are also very focused on their sides, ranging from garlic mashed potatoes to cream spinach.

They have over 15 different flavors of wings.  Including PB&J, Jamaican Mon, Muay Thai, Sriracha Madness, and more.

A great place to catch the game, and eat some amazing wings. Finally there is a wing joint that has more to choose from than mild, medium, hot, garlic, blah, blah, blah. PB&J, Mole, Srirachi, Jamaican are among many awesome flavors, and the wings are huge! Great prices, great location, and great atmosphere. I was there on opening night, and got to meet the owners, who were very passionate about making sure the customers were happy. Welcome to the neighborhood!!

I definitely can't complain about the portions or the prices... The full-sized wings are large enough to fill you up with an order of 4. The sides are also tasty for the most part, and a 4-wing combo coming in right at $9 is tough to beat downtown. However, unless you're used to extremely salty foods, or just enjoy pouring salt directly from the shaker into your mouth, I would have to say most, if not everything that is served at the Wing Bucket is waaay over-salted. Even the manager will tell you - but the saltiness has yet to be scaled back. Perhaps it is because the restaurant is new, and the recipe is a work-in-progress, I don't know. Once they can find a nice balance of flavor and saltiness, I really think the Wing Bucket will find its place among local wing favorites. The flavors really do have potential - you be the judge...
